Timer to control SWG and pool light

Hey all, I'm looking into a timer to control my SWG as I have been told by Hayward that the Aquarite cannot wire into the Ecostar pump to utilise the timer, but I would also like to switch the pool light on using a timer rather than a light sensor. Does anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably priced timer to meet my needs?

You are going to have a few challenges as you have to ensure that the SWG does not have power when the pump is off. This can be accomplished by using a current sensing relay on the power to the Ecostar that would then allow power to the SWG to turn on. I am not too familiar with these, but there have been a few posts about them recently.

For the light, you can use any cheap timer you like ... the mechanical Intermatic timers are pretty bullet proof.
