safe to run the pool filter with filter set on closed? and have the water running thru the deck jets?

Was thinking that it would still be too restrictive?

PH 6.7 with water heater, so wanted to use the deck jets to raise the PH. but would have to set the filter to closed so the water doesn't go thru the filter/heater.

I have a deck jet valve before the pull filter/heater. So could direct the water from pump to deck jets, but was thinking that it would still be to restricted for water pump. 220v pump.

DO NOT run on closed....run on recirculate.

Get your pH up in the 7's with Borax sooner rather than later. I wouldn't wait for aeration you are quite low.

once I get it too 7.0 I can run the filter/heater.

I have a separate pump shooting water in the air and splashing back down, but yes I know it will take awhile.

already got my TA to 90.
