Just a warning if you have a Foxx pool cover that locks into the coping. They really mean it when they say to cover it with pool water when you store it. I didn't get mine covered well enough this past year and it shrunk so badly it wouldn't go on the pool. It really kept the pool sparkling clean though.

winter - no cover

summer - no cover - No place to put a cover reel (furniture, potted plants). DW didn't want to lift solar reel with cover over everything.

early spring/fall - leaf net - I remove it before freezing.

Summer - solar blanket until July, then no cover.
