I have metal and after four years, no problems. My friends are about to purchase their first ag pool and I'm attempting to help them through the pool store shark infestation. One store says the resin top rails are the only way to go; others say they crack and have to be replaced every year or so.

What is you guys experience and recommendation??

TIA!

I previously believed that metal top rails & supports was the only way to go. I have resin and love the fact of no paint fade/peeling/rusting possible. Easy to clean, I have no sign of wear, but this one is only a year old.
Use caution when assembling, don't over torque the screws.
