    Resin versus metal top rail??

I have metal and after four years, no problems. My friends are about to purchase their first ag pool and I'm attempting to help them through the pool store shark infestation. One store says the resin top rails are the only way to go; others say they crack and have to be replaced every year or so.

What is you guys experience and recommendation??

    TIA!

Mine are resin; 4th year of owning it, and they're just fine.

I previously believed that metal top rails & supports was the only way to go. I have resin and love the fact of no paint fade/peeling/rusting possible. Easy to clean, I have no sign of wear, but this one is only a year old.
Use caution when assembling, don't over torque the screws.

After researching AGP's we went with resin. Of course we have only had our pool 1 month. So only time will tell. But I have heard resin was the best.

All the other issues aside, I think the resin rails look a lot nicer as well.
