Jandy Aqualink RS Trouble

hello; i have a jandy aqualink RS 8. sometime the in house display panel will just go dead. the filter and cleaner cycles continue to operate their cycles. it will be off hours or days. then it comes back on. i replaced the indoor control panel. but the issue recurrs. any ideas?

One of the 4 wires that run between the indoor panel and the panel at the equipment may have an intermittent open. Typically a pest chews on the wire(s) that run under the home.
