flocking a pool

I flocked my pool yesterday afternoon and early this morning the pump turned back on (forgot it was on a timer). The filter was in recirculate so no worries there but will I have to put more flocking agent it or will everything still settle to the bottom??

It will all clump together and you can vacuum it out to waste.

Ok that's what I was thinking but I wasn't positive. I thought since the pump kicked back on I might have to buy some more flocking agent.
