Best time to add salt for intex SWG

I would say fill the pool, check your chlorine levels, adjust if needed then put in the salt and brush it around. If memory serves, you run the pump but leave the swg off for 24 hours. This gives the salt time to dissolve and for it to be circulated completely. After the 24 hours, provided the salt is all dissolved, you can turn on the swg. The instruction book that come with the swg will give you all the pertinent directions including needed run time for your swg in relation to your particular pool. You'll also need to check the other chemical levels and adjust them. Wait between each chemical addition for the pump to circulate each addition before moving on to the next chemical ( I think they recommend on this board that you wait 30 minutes).

Just so's you know, you need to add the liquid chlorine up front in order to protect your pool balance while the salt dissolves. Without it you could have an algae bloom
