I've seen people posting the certain numbers FC, PH....Does your kit show exact numbers or you estimate? I have Poolmaster 22260 Basic 5-Way Test Kit. On chlorine tube, numbers are 5, 3, 2, 1, 0.6. Does your kit says 4.6, 0.8 or 2.5.......you estimated?

The only really estimated numbers are pH and CYA. All others (FC, CC, TA, CH) you count drops until a color changes, so they are in even increments, usually 0.5ppm for FC and CC, and 10ppm or 25ppm for TA and CH.

The pH still requires matching colors ... and the CYA you have to determine when a dot disappears.

You are using a DPD or OTO chlorine test ... we recommend the FAS-DPD chlorine test due to its accuracy.

That is the OTO test ... not very good at getting exact FC or CC numbers.

See link in my signature for the kits we recommend.
