New Pool in Chandler, AZ

Chandler, AZ
So we finally are able to do what we have been wanting to do for a while now, build a pool! We are currently in the building process and are at the stage where the decking and waterline tile have been completed. The next steps are stacked stone and plastering (Pebble Sheen) the pool. They will also be finishing the BBQ grill and putting travertine tile on the patio. We hope to be done in 2-3 weeks.

All equipment is Hayward.
Variable speed 2HP pump
60 sq ft DE filter
400K BTU natural gas heater
ProLogic 8 with aquapod
Salt Chlorine Generator system
Paramount O3 Ozone system (I know everyone's feelings on this, but it won't hurt anything to have it other than my wallet)
White LED lights (not sure of brand)
about 15k gallons for pool, 1k for spa
Waveforce cleaning system (not in-floor)
Travertine pavers for the deck

Here is the final design we came up with.

Here are some before shots. We had 6 large trees removed that were planted by the builder of the house. We knew that we were going to eventually do a pool, so we never did much with the backyard landscaping.

We were so excited when the decking finally started to go in. Changed the look of the backyard instantly!

The pavers are thick

They pulled out the big saw to make their cuts for the 6" X 6" soldier course.
IMG_1793.JPG[/attachment:5sc6z5oa]

What a huge difference when they sprayed off all of the dust from their cutting
IMG_1808.JPG[/attachment:5sc6z5oa]

Soon we will be able to put our furniture here! We love the look and color of the travertine.

Here are the choices that we went with. Sorry for the blurry pic but the lighting wasn't great in the design studio.

Sorry for all of the pic posts right in a row, but I could only do 3 at a time attached in a post.

Thanks for the welcome and I hope you enjoy the pics. Once they come and do more of the work next week I'll post the progress of the stacked stone, travertine tile on patio and grill, etc.

Thank you! I'll post more pics as more progress is made.

What color is that travertine considered?
It's a turkish travertine put in by Spartan Concrete. The color is called Noche.

What was your linear foot of your pool diameter? It looks great! Who was your pool contractor?
California Pools and Landscape is the contractor, although we aren't doing the landscaping yet. Couldn't put that into the budget right now. I'll probably do a lot of it myself.
The specs on the pool are:
35' X 20'
505 surface area
889 interior area
96' perimeter
15,150 gallons

spa is 7' X 7'
38 surface area
115 interior area
22' perimeter
998 gallons
