Anyone use a data logging thermometer on there pool?

Seeing that i'm installing a solar system on my pool i have been thinking about getting one of these.

It might be interesting and fun to see what kind and when you have losses and gains in heat, with and without a cover.

Has anyone used one of these?

It might be more substantial but you have to buy the enclosure separately and put it all together yourself. That makes the cost prohibitive for most residential users.

I don't know what you mean by "substantial", but from the quick glance i didn't see any of the units have data logging. They were all controllers. I want to be able to see a daily increase from the solar panels and then the nightly loss. It may not last long but a should be able to get some useful data from it.

It is more than capable of doing data logging, U set it up plugging into your computer temporarily, unplug. it can do a zillion things.

But if you're not into electronics and or computers it may not be for you.
