Two ports on my pump... can these be used with my Liquidator or do I still need to drill into my fittings and thread them (I'd rather not use the clamp method)?

As Robbie said, you can use the one on the front of the basket but you'll still need a port for the inlet to the LQ on the discharge plumbing somewhere.
the basket port will work fine but as already said you'll need to tap a return line for inlet to the liquidator.. you may not need a check valve in the line going to the pump basket. I do not have one on my liquidator. also just an fyi-- i've been using a pinch valve from u s plastics to controll feed for the last month or so.. so far it works great at very little cost compared to a good needle valve........
