anchor sockets

Well I thought I had everything covered until I thought of my stair hand railing. I am having a new pool deck/patio put in and remembered I have 2 anchor sockets to put back in the new concrete, can I use the old ones after I clean the old concrete off of them or should I just bite the bullet and buy 2 new ones? And brass is definitely the way to go if I have to buy new, right?

Yes, brass is best (few builders actually put it in, though) but if your old ones are not broken and worked before, I would reuse them.

Thanks Dave, my old ones are brass and as long as I can get the old crete off of them I was thinking they would be fine
