Hey all,

I have been lurking for a while and learned a lot here.

I am in the California Central Valley with my wife and 2-year old son. We are just starting our first summer in our new (to us) house with pool. We did have a pool before, but I took care of it according to advise that I now know was misguided.

I am all ready to go now doing things the right way, and have already re-plumbed my pump outlet to repair a leak and added a union in the process.

Now on to ask a few questions in the correct forum sections... :)

Will do... it is a small pool - about 18,000 gallons with a odd double kidney kind of shape. The pics won't be the prettiest though - we have a Pool Guardian fence installed because we have our son running around and two English Bulldogs that can't swim either... ;)
