Changing to salt water

Hi there,

We have an 18' agp, last year we had nothing but problems with green and cloudy water and it looks like it's starting again.

Would it be worth changing the water to salt or is it just as troublesome?

Welcome,

Algae is causing your problem. It's in there because you are not keeping your chlorine high enouigh. Changing to a SWG will not help if you don't keep the chlorine at the correct level.

You are going to need to kill the algae manually first either way, but a SWG system will make it simpler to maintain the proper FC level in the future.

We are putting it right first but I didn't want to make the change for it to be just as hard work as before if you see what I mean.
