was leaving for the weekend and noticed on the way out the door my pool cover had blown into the pool. Bummer cause the water was crystal clear. I can either drain it the rest of the way down or try and go after the debris. Its a 27' round and drained down a good 12-14" below the skimmer line.

what would you folks do?

Is there ice in it or can the filter be run?
Personally I'd just try to fish it out and deal with it, if you can start filtering I'd give that a go, even if it's too early to swim you could start filtering and treating water on a reduced time scale so as to avoid algae growing.

Just my 2 cents.
