Up and running!

Just had the pool repaired and needed a full drain, so after filling back up I decided to go ahead and open since there was a ton of pollen in the pool. I think I about have it balanced. Test readings are:

FC: 4.5
CC: 0
Ph: 7.2
TA: 80
CYA: 30
CH: 120

Should I add borax to get the Ph up, which will also increase TA, or should I try aeration to raise the Ph? How long does it take to raise using aeration?

Aeration is cheaper, and one good rain will probably do that for you any way.

What form of chlorine are you using? If liquid, then I see nothing wrong with leaving the pH and TA as is and let the pH slowly rise on its own.

Leave your pH alone. It will tend to rise naturally and 7.2 is within normal anyway.
