Liquidator... Are you using it with a 3/8" "kit" or are...

I'm ready to jump on the board the Liquidator bandwagon (as well as the ph Adjustor!) and I'm seeing that some people are using a 3/8" upgrade kit and others are leaving it as it is from the factory.

What can you tell me about that? Is there a reason to upgrade?

Mine is factory. I can empty mine in a day if I open the valve all the way. Whether you need the 3/8" setup depends on your system pressure and suction head.

Thanks! Our pressure appears to be very strong (we have to dial back the Great White almost all the way!)... so I'm thinking factory is the way to go.

It's easy enough to upgrade if you decide that it needs it after you get it. What really matters is the amount of suction head your system has. Most inground pools have plenty to run the LQ, most aboveground pools don't.
