New liner, fresh fill, have H2O readings, wait for leaks?

Hey Everybody,

Just today the local pool company finished a warranty replacement of a vinyl liner, the pool is now refilling.

The warranty replacement was due to an installer mistake at the top seams several years ago when a previous owner was in this house.

I'm kindof wondering what the best next step is...

- wait a day or two and check the water level for evidence of leaks or go ahead and get the chemistry set up?
- what is the proper order for adding chemicals? Shock with bleach first up to 10 ppm FC?

My tap water readings going in to the pool right now are:

temp: 68 F
TDS: 44
Salt: 0 ppm
FC: 0.82
TC: 1.13
pH: 7.2
ALK: 25
CH: 30
CYA: 0

Pool Leaks are pretty rare...especially with new liners. Do you have reason to be concerned it is leaking?

No, no concern. Just didn't know if it was standard protocol to wait and see.

The liner itself looks pristine, smooth and taut, with no wrinkles.
