Sand Fliter for 19x52 metal frame pool

Hi Guys, new hear and first post
firstly well done to all here great forum.
I am upgrading to a Sand filter, looking at the intex 2,650 on Amazon but they are out of stock, any recommendations on an alternative?

Welcome to the forum. :lol: What size is your pool? What size is your pump?

The whole system should "match up" to give you the best economy and filtering power.

I would recommend getting the 2650. There are an awfully lot of good reviews on them. I see it's back in stock on Amazon here

Unfotunatly not in stock in Canada, which is why i looking for an alternative, but if thats the one to get i'll just have to wait it out..

Didn't know you were in Canada. That's why it's a good idea to put your location down. I still suggest waiting unless it's going to be a long time.

Also , wondering if there is a product out there that i can put under my pool as well as the tarp it came with , 1" styrofoam is just too expensive for me , was looking for a more durable product that a tarp?

The tarp is pretty durable, but if you want something else you could try some laminate flooring underlayment.

Nope all i can do is sit and wait, if i bought it from US it would cost me more in shipping that the filter cost!!!!! is there an alternative?

Yes i do, i think they sell them . i've been checking there web site, but i must go in and check

They also sell it by a different brand name. I can't remember what it is, but it's the same unit.

I'm still searching, everywhere in canda seems to be out of stock........do they know somthing i don't...snow coming back early this year !!!!!!!!!!

any alternatives that might work, i'm going to hard plumb this in as i leave my pool up all winter( take the filter off of course)

Any of the small name brand pump filter combos will work. Hayward, Pentair, Sta-Rite, etc.

Do you have a Sams or Costco nearby?
