Question for someone else testing flow sensor

Can anyone help me out with this, so I can pass the information along.

"I've got a goldline controls Aqua Rite automatic chlorine generator. It's showing NO FLOW when my pump is running.

The connector from the flow sensor is good.
The cable from the flow sensor is good.

How can I check the flow sensor?
Does it put out a voltage when it senses a flow?

Should there be continuity when there's no flow or the other way around?

What should the continuity read?"

There should be continuity with water flow.

Here's a thread that has a picture of it. You can short the terminals for the flow sensor and the swg should start working if it's a bad flow switch.

Once again thanks for the info, I passed it along and after a few test new flow sensor ordered.
