Tried searching the forum but not finding anything. How do you determine how long to you run your pump each day. ZxAverage 85 degrees. 2 speed-14000 gallons

Thoughts?

Thanks
Shawn

Actually, you run it long enough to keep the pool looking like you want. We generalize to start with an 8 hour daily run time and then move it up or down depending on how satisfied you are with the way your pool looks.

Mine does pretty good for about 8 hours daily except I move it up to 10 in the Spring (with all the falling tree junk) and then 12 or so when active swim season begins.

4 hours in the cold months is all I need.

Your pool will be different but it might be a starting point.
