Question about a Hayward multiport
I have A Hayward 715x R50
When i select Re-Circulate water slowly comes out of the backwash pipe ...
Spider gasket ????

Yep took it apart and 2 spokes were gone and the rest of it was shot ..
Used a go kit from leslies for 15 bucks and wala!!!

Hayward 715xr50 multiport valve , replaced all the o-rings now it works but water is leaking from under the handle. I think it might be warn out !! 12 years old. Should i replace the top assembly or the entire valve ???
Does the bottom part wear out ???

I think there are supposed to be o-rings on the shaft? Or maybe the spring has gotten weak and not forcing a good seal.

It could be the spring, i replaced the o-ring on the shaft .

I ended up replacing the entire top assembly for 78 bucks
It fixed it , guess it was just warn out !!!
No leaks !!!
