AquaLogic and Pool Lights

I have an AquaLogic controller that i turn my pool lights on and off with. I have noticed that in some instances the lights cycle through a few different colors but sometimes they dont.

Is there a special sequence on the controller i need to hit the pool light button to have it change colors or not change colors. I've attempted a few things... Quick double tap of pool light button, holding it down etc...

Any ideas?

ColorLogic from Hayward Operating Instructions

Cycling Control:
1. Initial Power On-15 seconds of white followed by last program shown.
2. Each on/off cycled at less than 10 seconds will go to the next program.
3. Any off position for between 11 and 14 seconds will reset to program #1.
4. Any off position longer than 60 seconds will set the program to begin as 15 seconds of white followed by last program on.

Program Order:
1. Voodoo Lounge Fast Color Wash
2. Deep Blue Sea Fixed Color
3. Afternoon Skies Fixed Color
4. Emerald Fixed Color
5. Sangria Fixed Color
6. Cloud White Fixed Color
7. Twilight Slow Color Wash
8. Tranquility Blue/Cyan/White Fade
9. Gemstone Blue/Green/Magenta Fade
10. USA! Red, White, Blue Switch
11. Mardi Gras Fast Random Fade
12. Cool Cabaret Fast Random Fade

Thanks Rick, i'm not sure if the actual light is a ColorLogic. On the original owner invoice all it says is POOL LIGHT: FX
