Bluish to greenish??

Hi all and thanks for all of your help.

I had my DE Filter broken down and cleaned a few weeks ago. :15 after the gentleman left my pool turned a greenish tint, (water still clear just greenish instead of blue). Am having a terrible time getting AND KEEPING it blue now. In the same day it will go blue then back to green. Can it have anything to do with that filter break down??

Did the color change happen shortly after you added chlorine (or any other chemical)?

No after I had my DE filter cleaned.

What you're describing sounds like metals in the water.
Can you post a pic of it and post a set of test results and how you got them?

Since you say it is clear, it sounds like metals. It could be copper, or most likely iron. The other possibility is algae, but that would be a clear green. What is your water source?

Yes it is a clear green. I don't have the result numbers. I took a sample to Leslie's they said they thought it was metals too but it wasn't

How did you/they decide that it wasn't metals?
I say that to say this. Metals can be high enough to tint the water and not show up on most common tests.
