Not sure why the pool calculator site isn't responding.

The IPhone app is the second one in the apps store- I think it's called Psi flow technology.

I went to it via the backup address and it worked fine.

The backup address is not really a "backup" it is a separate copy.

Not from "poolcalculator" per se.

SimplePool is developed by a member here as is Pool Pal I believe.

My vote for Simple Pool. Great app.

Save that page as a local page on your computer and run it from there, that site is so valuable that I keep a copy backed up locally.

Whoever maintains that page should invest in a PayPal donation link, I'd donate a few bucks!

Rather than donating, I paid for the app. Now of the site goes down I'm still good.

I saved the page locally on a couple of computers last year just in case it ever goes away and it is way to valuable to me to lose it. I like the paypal donation idea.

Is there an update for the iphone app? I don't know if it is only in my area, but I noticed that it seams the 6% bleach is being replaced with 8.25% concentrated, while the calculator on the PC version works great, and has the ability to manually input the percentage, the iphone app does not have this flexability and does not have a 8.25% option, only an 8% or 10%.

Unfortunately, it does not seem like the iphone app developer is very responsive to update needs ... neither is the website owner ...

No, there isn't an update available, nor is one all that likely given their history.

Just use 8% and don't worry about it. The actual percentage varies by more than 0.25% anyway.
