Intellichlor IC40

I have a Pentair Intellichlor IC40 that will be 4 years old in July. The cell is clean but for some reason the lights do not come on. Any suggestions on what the problem may be?

Yes, it is. The guy at the pool stare said these things only last about 5 years and then you have to replace it. I sure hope that's not the case.

He's somewhat correct. They normally last about 5 years but it can be longer or shorter than that. Did you have them test it while you were there?

No I didn't. I will have to take it back down there so they can test it. Do these cells have fuses that can go bad?

Open the power center and make sure the green light is on inside it when there is power to the transformer.

I will check that out. What if there is no green light?

If there is no green light, that means the fuse is blown on the power center.
