Need help with Intex Pool over gravel

I know this isn't ideal but I am wanting to put up a small intex pool either quick set or metal frame (probably 12'x36" pool although I would love a 15'x42").

The issue is I only have a place very close to my house which I am sure is a bad idea or gravel to place it on. Is it possible to place something over the gravel so that I can place the pool there? Also what is the minimum distance from house that is recommended?

You can use foam sheets to lay it on. Search here for several posts discussing it. That will protect the pool bottom from the gravel unless it's very large gravel.

My pool had to be at least 6' from any structure and also from the property lines in order to pass city inspection.

Your area may have different requirements.
