Does a SS brush damage the plaster in anyway in a in-groud pool?

First hand experience here:
If it's sold for a pool, no damage.
A stiffer brush, as used to remove flaking paint, will gouge.
And once you start losing bristles, toss it. They're heck to vacuum up.

They should not be used on newer plaster though ... I think the first year? Someone will have to confirm.
