Chlorinator not working showing low salt

Hi
I have an autchlor ac25t chlorinator that shows low salt and as a result the chlorine output is at0%
Cell is clean and water flow is good. Salt has been tested and is good at 5000ppm
What can I do to fix this issue?

How old is the cell? One of the signs of the cell reaching the end of its life is low salt readings.

it'd be either the cell (most likely if the unit is older than 5 years) or a control board
if you are in Australia the best course of action would probably be to ring AIS on 07 3396 5222 and speak to their technical department
if you are in Brisbane then you can even bring it to them and they can test it while you wait.

Thanks the unit is about 7 years old. Will give ais a call

Is your SCG affected by water temp? Mine doesn't work below 59 degrees water temp.

nah autochlor's don't turn off, they will produce as long as they can pump out enough voltage to keep the amps up

also the summer just finished here so the water should still be warm enough
