CYA over 100ppm

Hello everybody, new guy here
So I recently tested my pool water with a k-2006 kit and here are the results I got for my pool water
PH: 7.4
FC: 0.4ppm
CC: 0.6ppm
TA: 125ppm
CH: 500ppm
CYA: over 100ppm

Algae present: yes
Type of algae: yellow

-Fill water
CH: 220ppm
TA: 220ppm

So my question is, should I do a partial drain and refill to remove some of the CYA?
And also, is there a correct way to drain off some water? I dont want to damage the plaster.

Yes you need to drain about half the water to begin with. Then retest and see where you're at.

Drain about half, refill to normal water level, and then retest to see where you are.
