I turned on the pump this year and it sounded a little funny, it has water going through it, but there is no added pressure from the wall hook up. There is also a small leak towards the front of the motor. Any help is greatly appreacited.

Turn everything off and see if you can turn the shaft of the booster pump by hand. You may need to open up the pump housing and turn the impeller to get the shaft to turn. The shaft should turn fairly freely, but stop the moment you stop applying pressure. If it binds, try turning it a couple of times by hand and see if it loosens up. Then put things back together and try again.
