Can i drill trough equipment pad and put a copper rod into earth and connect lug on pump? Current pump looks like it from yhe dark ages and dosny have a bond.Or should i not bother as equipment is in its own shed. Thanks guys

What you propose would not actually bond it to the metal around the pool or the pool water or decking like it should be.
Not sure if that would help anything or not.
