Hi, After I replaced my blower in my Hayward Heater, I discovered my Display on the heater says CE. After reading about this error, it means that the ignition control board and the display board are not communicating. When I inspected the display board, I found it has some damage on the communication circuit IC's. However I have a Easy Touch system hooked up that controls the heater and it works fine. Do I need to fix this or can I leave the pad not communicating with the ignition board?

As long as the unit fires up via your request from the ET, I wouldn't worry about it.
