We have a fastlane endless pool that is about 2600 gallons. We also have a 230 gallon hot tub. I am wondering what, if any, problems/concerns there might be if we refill the hot tub with water from the pool and then top off the pool with the garden hose. The main reason for doing this is that the pool is already at 84 deg, so there would only be a short wait for the hot tub to be up and running at 102 deg.

Far easier and simpler to do so, it's easier to correct and rebalance the pool water than starting the spa from scratch. This is all I ever do when tree is a pool and spa in the same location
That is unless you are that one guy in the world that uses baquacil in your pool and chlorine/bromine in your tub. Then don't do it

is there a easy and fairly fast way to do this? i guess i could try siphon with garden hose but shouldn't there be an inexpensive pump to speed up the process?
