My current heater is 25+ years old and is dead. The pool was replastered/coped/tiled about 4 years ago and a new Jandy RS6 was installed. Is there any reason to go with the Jandy/Laars LX/i heaters because they supposedly work better with the Aqualink? The current heater worked fine with the RS6 controlling the temp so I'm not sure what I would really gain for an extra $250.
