Fiberstars light conversion to LED

Our pool has a Fiberstars fiber optic light setup and I would like to convert the system to LED. Fiberstars has a PAL-Treo retrofit kit available that guts the fiber optic and install an LED lamp in the wall fittings and routes the conductor through the existing fiber optic conduit.

The current system uses a whooping 200W bulb!
The LED system uses two 5W bulbs + minor conversion losses.

Before I take the $$ plunge, it sure would be helpful if I had some feed back from some owners....illumination intensity, light show options, quality, installation difficulty, over all impression.

Please shed some light on this subject :idea:

Did you ever complete the conversion? I'm interested in doing the same thing myself - my Polaris After Dark lamp replacement is almost $300 by itself and never really lit up the pool that well.
