Just got new test kit. How do my numbers look ?

Hello Gzelano
Welcome to TFP,i am just a nebbie and want to help a bit. but the pool gurus will probally be here soon. Your numbers don't look to bad, you could bring your cya up a little, [ salt 2830 means you have SWCG??] if so about 50 - 80 is acceptable with an FC of 3.5

Also looks like your TA is a bit to high as well, and seeing as the ph is up , it's a good opportunity for you to bring your TA down at the same time as well. Have look at this sticky in chemistry for a full explanation

http://www.troublefreepool.com/viewtopic.php?t=5341

also you could check your SWCG manual for correct salt level as you might have lost some in your last swim season. [ splashing or backwashing ]

Also if you list your pool details in your signature it really helps the experts help you.

anyway the pros will come along soon and help as well.

happy swims
Frankie

You want to bring your PH down. Try to keep PH between 7.2 and 7.8 at all times.

CYA should go up. CYA between 60 and 80 is best when using a SWG.

Then read the sticky waterbear suggested for the finer details.
