We are building new pool with a Jandy AquaLink PDA PS8 Pool and Spa Control. How expensive and difficult would it be to upgrade to IQ900? We would like to control pool and spa with mobile devices but did not want to pay PB prices.

Hello CK,

The Jandy PDA system is not compatible with the new iAquaLink. You would want to go with a standard RS-PS8 Pool and Spa Combo system with Rev R (comes standard) and then purchase the IQ900 on top of that. If you want to add a secondary wireless controller for the house so that you can take it with you to your pool/spa I recommend adding the AquaPalm (AQPLM). This water RESISTANT wireless control will give you basic on/off functionality when you don't want to use your smart device or computer when outdoors and/or near a body of water.

Check with your local retailer for pricing as pricing varies from dealer to dealer.
