Due to the great advice from this forum we decided not to go with the spa attached to our heat pump. However, the pool builder had attached a pump to our equipment pad that he was going to use for the spa. He is just going to leave it there and have it work the sheers and deck jets. Can anyone tell me anything about this pump? It is an A.O. Smith E-plus pump, IG, CTX 3/4HP. Has CTX 0750 on the label. I can't seem to find any info about it and was trying to see how old the model was and how loud it might be.
Also, we already have a Pentair Intelliflo pump for the pool on the pad. Is it better to have both or a waste of electricity? He didn't charge for the A.O. smith pump.
