Me thinks I Messed up...

Does anyone have a pic of the motor for a Whisperflo WF-4 COMPLETELY wired for a 115v plug? I thought it was correct, but the pumps shuts off after running for 5 min and its HOT ...me thinks I messed up

There should be a wiring diagram on the motor. If you'll post a pic of that and a pic of how you have it wired, we can let you know what, if anything, looks wrong.

Did you just replace the motor? They come from the manufacturer pre-set for 220v and you will need to switch it to 115v if so.

I'm thinking thats the issue....I bought it used and the previous owner had it hard wired to his breaker box. My boyfriend did the wiring for me, but I think he did not take that into account. I'm disconnecting it from the pool now to check. BOTHER!

Most likely it just needs to be switched to 115v. Let me know how it goes!
