Coping 9" Vs. 12"

Does anyone have pros and cons of 9" vs 12" pool coping?

Its really personal preference. I myself went with 12" coping made from Oklahoma Flagstone around my pool. I think it gives the pool a better border and sets it apart from any decking.

We decided to go with the 12" coping instead of the 9" and used PaveStone pavers called Savanna. We are very happy with the pavers around the pool. I cannot get over how slip resistance the pavers are. We used a concrete curb around the perimeter and polymetric sand on the top to lock the pavers in.
