Six months until it's opened in Northern Illinois.
That solar thing was my son's project - with a solar cover it will add a couple of degrees a week.........

Just a heads up, the solar would work better if you ran the water through all the horizontal pipe in parallel and not series as it is currently. Solar works better at heating a large amount of water a little than a smaller amount of water a lot.
In either case, it is all about surface area, and that does not have a lot of it, so don't be surprised if you do not notice a whole lot of difference ... the cover will certainly help.
