Coping overhang length?

Hey everyone,

My pool ready to have the coping installed. I'm going with wiarton stone coping that is 2 inch thick by 12 inches wide. I was wondering what is the average length for stone coping to overhang on a vinyl pool? Also what is the minimum and maximum overhang lengths.

Dont know about mins or max, but my stone coping on a vinyl pool hangs over about 2" and looks good.

Thanks bk406! I took your advice and went with a 2" overhang. It looks good. I can't wait till the rest of the stone & pavers are installed.
