foam in the pool swg

This is year three for my vinyl lined pool. SWG system that I love. This year we have white foam generated when the pump is on. NO algaecide added and no vacuum leaks. Possibly some soap from a bucket got in but in minor amounts.

Somewhere I read that calcium will take care of the foam? Input please.

Welcome to TFP!

Bringing CH up to about 150, assuming it is below 150 currently, helps reduce foaming in general. Maintaining proper chlorine levels also tends to break down foaming agents. In extreme cases it is sometimes useful to try an enzyme product, which can help break down some foaming agents that chlorine only handles slowly.
