AGP first time closing

I just wanted to post a picture of what my AGP looks like after closing it for the first time, just to make sure I am not missing anything major.

The filter and pump are drained and stored away in the garage.
I lowered the water level to 4-6" below the skimmer.
Put air balloon in, and put cover on.
How much water can sit on top of the cover? It has been raining a lot here.

looks good to me! If you get alot of rainwater on top..get a small submersible pump and pump it off. Samething happens to me too, and snow when it melts in the spring will fill it up too...so I just pump it off when I need to and call it good.

I try to keep most of the water off mine until it freezes. I use a clothes washer hose and submerge it to get a siphon effect going. I only do this when there's a couple inches of water on it.

Cool, thanks for the comments. I have an old sump pump kicking around that I can use to pump the water off the cover. I will try and do that before the temperatures get down to freezing.
