Covering AG pool surrounded by a deck

Hello,
I am new to this and don't know what to do. I want to cover my pool for the winter and the deck that was built doesn't look like it will have room for the cover to cinch under the pool rim. Any suggestions on how to cover? My husband is thinking maybe we could attach the cover to the deck somehow. Have any of you had to deal with this same problem? Please help!

Yes, it does.

Is the deck above or below the coping?

If it is below, you only need a 1/2" or so (or less, I think I have about 1/4") of space to get the wire into. The excess cover can lay on the deck as long as the wire is under the coping.

If the deck is on top of the coping (or flush with it) then you would have to treat it like an in ground pool and use water bags.
