Trying to determine head loss for Hayward sand filter

Trying to determine head loss for Hayward S310S sand filter with SP0715X62 multi-port valve.

The Hayward site lists a design flow rate of 98 GPM, but nothing about head loss or pressure loss.

Any help is most appreciated.

There is a chart for head loss, although your combo is not on it ... might offer some idea if you can find the Pentair equivalent.

Not all filter lines have head loss data but the two most important head loss factors for a sand filter are the size in sq-ft and the backwash valve size. So just use the equivalent Pentair filter and it should be relatively close.

Hayward probably has the curves for the valve and the filter. They might send you a copy for each if you requested them.

Ok....I think the filter and multi-port match to the TR 100 with 2" multiport......or 21 ft head loss @ 90 gpm.
