Drop FC to zero

I been trying now for 3 days to drop my FC to zero because I want to do a absorbic acid treatment. I turnded my swg off 3 days ago n let the pump run 24/7.

I did put a qt of poly-60 in too. My cya is around 60.

My FC is 6 right now. Dropped only .5 so far. It's been cool in the low 70s-mid 60s

You can use Sodium Thiosulphate (sometimes called dechlorinator) to remove chlorine, but be careful not to overdose with it or you will need vast amounts of chlorine to counteract it, it's always best to undershoot your target with Thiosulphate first and go down gradually. Usually available at pool stores - that is if your in a rush, or you could just wait for the FC to drop its self.
