Order of chemicals/ready to close

We have cleaned out the pool. Ladder out. Skimmer plate is on.
All that's left is taking it to shock level and circulating that through the pump, then covering (also disconnecting pump & hoses, etc.).

Here are today's chemistry numbers (obviously pre-shock)

FC: 4
CC: 0
Ph: 7.7
TA: 60
CYA:45

My question is on Ph & TA. Should I add some Ph-minus (Ph has always crept up all summer), and if so, should that happen before shocking?
Same question for TA. Should I add baking soda to raise it, and if so, what order and how much interval between?

Thanks.

Not mandatory, but I would lower pH to 7.2 just to get some "cushion" as it tends to rise anyway.

(For semantics sake, you are not shocking the pool but simply raising the FC to shock value. Shocking the pool is a process as described in pool school.)
